Currently, 1st grade is doing a unit study on the author Mo Willems. So I decided to tie into their curriculum by using clay slabs and turning them into Pigeon. The kids couldn't have been more excited!
Last week, we learned all about clay and traced our pigeons onto the clay and cut them out. This week we painted them.
